DHARAMSHALA: Devotees converged at Tsuglakhang (Main Temple) on Monday, 22 February, the 15th day of the first Tibetan lunar month, to offer prayers and listen to teachings from the Jataka tales being conducted by Jhado Rinpoche, former abbot of Namgyal monastery and current abbot Gyuto Tantric College.

Chotrul Deuchen or the 15th day of the first Tibetan lunar month, is considered sacred as the day that marked Buddha Shakyamuni’s great miracles.
