In Photos: His Holiness begins teaching for Tibetan Youths

His Holiness the Dalai Lama begins a two-day teaching on why the Tibetan youth today should inculcate the ethical values of Tibetan Buddhism and culture, at the Tibetan Children’s Village School, in Dharamshala, on 5 June 2008. The event is an initiative of the Buddhism Introductory Committee, headed by a member of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and former Tibetan Welfare Officer of the Dharamshala, Dawa Tsering. Some 2,500 Tibetan youth thronged the auditorium of the Tibetan Children’s Village School in Dharamshala to learn more about their rich cultural roots from His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Scores of listeners, including students of the Tibetan Children’s Village and general public sit outside the auditorium to receive the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
