Kollegal: A delegation led by Kalon Sonam Topgyal Khorlatsang, Department of Home, CTA on Wednesday visited a private enterprise called Micro fab engineers to discuss machines for expeller of Jhotropha plants for extraction of bio fuels and later met with proprietor of Essar Engineers K. Rajarathinam.

Kalon later visited Tamil Nadu Agriculture University to see machineries of bio fuel extractions at which where R&D work is going on.

Home Kalon was accompanied by Chief Planning Commissioner Dr Kunchok Tsundue, Tibetan Settlement Officer, Kollegal Thupten Tsering and ORTC Manager Tenzin Rigdhen. They met with professors and department Incharge of bio fuel and saw the demonstrations of all the equipments used for research work at the university.

After the inspection at the research section, Kalon met with Director Dr. S.D Sivakumar of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, who assured his support and guidance on bio fuel extraction.
