
DHARAMSHALA: Kalon Dolma Gyari today met with Ms Ida Van Gulik, head of the E.C.H Eversdijk Smulders Stiching, a humanitarian organisation based in the Netherlands, during her visit to the Central Tibetan Administration headquarters in Dharamshala.
Ms Ida Van Gulik, who is in Dharamshala to attend the founding anniversary of TCV school, today visited various departments of the CTA.
During her visit to home department today, Kalon Dolma Gyari presented Ms Gulik with a ceremony scarf and honorarium to thank her organisation’s long-standing humanitarian aid in renovation of homes and natural disaster relief in Tibetan settlements. The organisation has so far supported about 20 welfare projects, including renovation of homes and staff quarters in Tibetan settlements, and emergency aid for those affected by flooding in Ladakh.
Ms Gulik also visited the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile and met with Speaker Penpa Tsering. She expressed her great happiness in working for the welfare and rehabilitation of Tibetans.
