Home Dept Receives Donation For Tibetan Flood Victims in Ladakh[Wednesday, 29 September 2010, 9:10 a.m.]
Dharamshala: The Department of Home of the Central Tibetan Administration has received so far a total donation of Rs 24,26,549 to help Tibetans affected by the recent devastating cloudburst in Leh and Jangthang Numa region of Ladakh.The home department said it had made the urgent appeal through official channels for donation from Tibetans living overseas, India, Nepal and Bhutan.Accordingly, the Tibetan organisations, settlements and offices of Tibet have offered monetary contribution to expressed their solidarity with the people affected by the tragedy, the department said.The department said it would announce the names of organisations, settlements and offices of Tibet upon receiving their contributions.Following is the list of those who have submitted their donations to the home department until now.
