His Holiness to Visit Israel

Dharamshala (TibetNet): His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit Israel between 15 and 19 February 2006 to participate in celebrations marking the birth centenary of Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion.
His Holiness is expected to visit Ben-Gurion’s grave, give public talk and meet Israeli government officials during his five-day visit to the country, which is co-coordinated by Yativ, Israeli Friends of the Tibet People (IFTIP).
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give public talk on Universal Responsibility in Tel Aviv on 17 February and will give teaching on Training the Mind at Smolarsh auditorium of the Tel Aviv University following the day.
On 19 February, His Holiness will give a public talk at the City Hall of Bethlehem coordinated by the Holy Land Trust, a Palestinian not-for-profit organisation established in 1998 to strengthen, encourage and improve the Palestinian community through working with children, families, youth and non-governmental organistions.
