
DHARAMSHALA: His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala today for a visit to the United States. His visit to the United States include public talks, dialogue on compassion and business, and addresses to Tibetan communities.
His Holiness will give a public talk in the afternoon of 22 February at Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco, California.
He will give a public talk on ‘How To Achieve Happiness’ in the morning at the Berkeley Community Theatre, California on 23 February.
On 24 February, he will participate in a dialogue on the theme of Compassion and Business at Santa Clara University organised by CCARE and Santa Clara University, California on 24 February.
He will give a public talk on ‘Non-Violence and the Effects of Compassion in the 21st Century’ at the Forum organised by The Lourdes Foundation, in Los Angeles, California on 25 February.
On 1 March, His Holiness will give a talk at the 26th annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum at the Minneapolis Convention Center organised by The Nobel Peace Prize Forum and Augsburg College.
He will participate in Tibetan New Year ceremony in the morning at Augsburg College organised by the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota on 2 March. On the same day, he will give a talk on ‘The Nature of Happiness, Fulfillment and Embodiment’ at Macalester College, St. Paul.
He will give a public talk on ‘Beyond Religion: Ethics for the Whole World’ organised by the National Cathedral and the Office of Tibet in Washington DC on 7 March
