
DHARAMSHALA: His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala today for a 18-day visit to Belgium, France and Poland. His visit include public talks on ethics beyond religion, teachings and dialogues on Mind & Life.
On 8 September, His Holiness will inaugurate the Seventh Tibet Support Groups Conference (8-10 September) at St.-Louis University, Bruxelles, Belgium.
From 9-11 September, His Holiness will have two and a half day Mind & Life Dialogue on Power and Care with leading experts in science, economics and religion at the Bozar Center for Fine Arts, Bruxelles, Belgium.
On 11 September, His Holiness will give a public talk on Individual Engagement and Global Responsibility in the afternoon at Palais 12, Brussels Expo – Belgium.
His Holiness will then visit Paris for a two-day programme (13-14 September). The programme include an audience for the Tibetan community, interfaith dialogue on Respect & Tolerance and a talk by His Holiness on The Need to Preserve Tibetan Language and Civilization at INALCO.
From 15-19 September, His Holiness will have programmes in Strasbourg including a visit to the European Parliament. Other engagements in France include an address by His Holiness to students organised by the Mayor of Strasbourg, Body & Mind Conference on 16 September, Teachings on 17 September and Avalokitesvara Initiation on 18 September.
Following the visit to France, His Holiness will visit Wroclaw in Poland from 20-21 September.
His Holiness will return to Dharamshala on 23 September 2016.
