Health Kalon Choekyong Wangchuk paid a visit to the DoH Hospital and Men-tsee-Khang in Dekyiling, followed by visit to Dhondupling (Clementown) and Dokham Chanderbani Tibetan Settlement on 21 May 2018 as part of his ongoing visit to Tibetan settlements in Dehradun area.

He visited Sataun, Kamrao, Lhakhanwala and Khera Tibetan Settlements on 22 May 2018. Kalon was warmly welcomed by the respective settlement officers and representatives of various Tibetan organizations.

The main objective of the visit was to observe and understand the condition of Tibetan Health Centers with regards to its structure, clinical equipment and other ongoing and future projects related to health.
