COVID-19 online training underway at Mainpat Hospital.

Dharamshala: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Health, CTA launched a COVID-19 online training initiative on 18 May for the benefit of medical officers, nurses, and community health workers of DoHe Health facilities.

The training aims to enhance their knowledge of COVID-19 and its prevention.

Latest updates on the development of COVID-19 related antiviral drugs, testing, and clinical management and protection of health care workers was also discussed at the training.

The training consists of three series of training videos, designed by the Health Department COVID-19 training committee members: Dr Tenzin Wangchuk Menlha hospital, Dr Kelsang Choedon DTR hospital, Tsering Yangdol Psychologist, DoHe, Mr Tsering, DOHe, Ms Tenzin Dolma, DOHe and Tenzin Lhadon, Nurse, DOHe.

While the first training series is expected to conclude on 12 June, the Health Department will be organising similar training for the Health staff of SOWA RIGPA.
