DHARAMSHALA:
His Eminence the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje today
presided over a special prayer session marking the 49th day since
Phuntsog, a monk of Kirti Monastery, immolated self in protest against
China’s repression on 16 March this year.Hundreds of Tibetans,
who attended the morning prayer service, also offered prayers for all
those Tibetans who sacrificed their lives for Tibet’s cause. The prayer service was organised by twelve different Tibetan organisations based in Dharamsala.
