Global Leadership Incubator (GLI), US was founded in 2012 in partnership with Department of Education (DoE), Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) for providing opportunities for brilliant Tibetan students in India to study in top-notch colleges/universities in US. Earlier on, every year, 5 toppers each from three different streams viz; Arts, Commerce and Science of their class XII Board Examinations were invited to the selection/interview. However, in view of past experiences, we have now changed the procedure and requirement in order to avoid last minute disappointments for the organizer and the students. The interested students are therefore, advised to send us your application by 8th August, 2014 with the following documents:
a) Student should graduate class XII Board Exam in 2014 with 75% and above (mark sheet).
b) Photocopies of his/her Registration Certificate (RC) duly extended
c) Photocopies of his/her Green Book duly paid.
All the photocopies submitted must be attested either by a CTA gazette officer (the rank of Joint Secretary and above) or Settlement Officer.
All the eligible candidates will be contacted to take TOEFL Diagnostic Test, which will be administered at Delhi and Bangalore, respectively for the convenience of the students studying in North and South India. Please specify the location you would like to take the TOEFL diagnostics test in your application. The diagnostic tests will be administered by GLI/DoE coordinators sometime in August, 2014. The individual students will be informed by email and are also advised to check on our website; www.sherig.org or www.tcewf.org for updates.
The top TEN students, who have scored 100 or more marks in the TOEFL diagnostics test which is adapted from iBT TOEFL resource, will be invited for the final selection/interview to be held sometime in October/November 2014. The location and exact date of the interview will be intimated later.
