Girls Perform Better than Boys in Tenth Board Exam Saturday, 30 May 2009, 3:38 p.m.
Dharamshala: The Tibetan girls fared better than boys in this year’s class ten-board examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education by securing a total pass percentage of 87.46 percent. The boys attained 85.75 percent.Out of 1672 Tibetan students of who appeared in the exam, 1453 came out with flying colours, while 217 students have to reappear and only 2 failed to clear the exam.The total pass percentage of the Tibetan students is recorded 86.9 percent this year.The CVP School Bylakuppe, Tibetan Children’s Village Selakui School, Central School for Tibetans Mungod and CST Chandagiri School are the schools with cent percent pass percentage.Ruchika Bhatt of CST Herbertpur topped with 93%, followed by Ekta Aggarwal of the same school with 90.6%.
