Dharamsala, 22 March 2003: By making the most of the ongoing religious teachings which has attracted a large number of people to this Himalayan town. ‘Gyal Shyen Lhaen zom’ (Forum for discussing current Tibetan issues) is organizing a parallel program, but on a different subject. A ten day long ‘political awareness’ discourse will begin from 23rd March. The evening session will be held from 5.30PM to 7PM at Yongling Primary School at Mcloed Gunj. Topics and schedule are as follows.
1. Middle Path as the most appropriate strategy for achieving complete and genuine autonomy through non violence means.
Speaker: Kalon Tripa Prof Samdhong Rinpoche. Date 23rd March.
2. Rangzen (Independence) as the legitimate goal of the Tibetan people and how to achieve it.
Speaker: Former President of Tibetan Youth Congress. Mr Lhasang Tsering . Date 24th March.
3. Roles and responsibilities of the younger generation Tibetans in the present Tibetan struggle.
Speaker: Former Chairperson of ATPD, Mr Karma Choephel. Date 25th March.
4. ‘Boycott Chinese goods’ Campaign- What it means and how it can be achieved.
Speaker: President and Co-founder of Friends of Tibet, Mr Tenzin Tsundue. Date 26th March.
5. Whether we need a change in the present electoral system of the ATPD or not.
Speaker: Former Vice President of Tibetan Youth Congress, Mr Karma Yeshi. Date 27th March.
6. Assessment of the past one and half years of the present Kashag.

7. Dotoe Tsokpa’s aims and objectives. What are its policies and its works.
