
Dharamshala: Finance Kalon Karma Yeshi inaugurated the opening ceremony of the 14th three-month Intensive translations workshop organised by Library of Tibetan Works and Archives (LTWA) on 1 July 2019.
Ven. Geshe Lhakdor, the Director of LTWA introduced and explained the gathering of the aims and objectives of the workshop.
Kalon Karma Yeshi called out the participants to fully engage and participate in this three-month workshop and adhere to the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He further urged that the participants should be able to contribute their knowledge and skills gained from the workshop to the service of the community.
The participants of the workshop constituted of geshes, journalists, astrologers, psychologists, linguists, civil servants, etc.
Kalon advised that the group should interact with each other, share and enhance each other’s knowledge.
Following the address, Secretary Ngawang Yeshi of LTWA delivered a vote of thanks and thus successfully concluded the opening ceremony.
The workshop is being organised by the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives and it is the 14th of the series of workshops that were organised.
The workshop is attended by 37 participants including both men and women.
