Mr. Tashi Wangdue, the Director of Federation of Tibetan Co-operatives in India Ltd., speaks on the works of Tibetan co-operatives in India. Federation of Tibetan Co-operatives in India, is a parent organisation that oversees the works of the branch co-operative socities in different states of India. FTCI which is started in 2005 completes 10 years of its service on April 10, 2015. Currently, there are 15 co-operative societies found in major Tibetan settlements in various states of India. The works of the branch co-operative societies, some of which started as early as 1963, have improved ever since the establishment of FTCI.
