Thirdly, anyone who has since attained the age of 18 years is eligible to register to vote, from the above-listed date to January 2, 2021, as per the provisions of Article 18 (3) (c) under the Election Commission regulations.

As a result of the successful registration conducted by 58 local Tibetan ECs across 26 countries from 1 September – 15 October and then from 15 – 30 October, the total number of registered voters for the upcoming 2021 Sikyong and Parliamentary elections stands at 79,697 including 55,683 from India and 24,014 abroad.
