Dharamshala: A training on project management, monitoring and implementation was jointly organised by the Central Tibetan Administration’s Department of Education and CICED Denmark at CST school, Chauntara, from 19 – 21 October.Officials from the education department including Education Officer, Project Officer, staff from Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society took part in the training.Two resource persons from Denmark, Mr Henrik Bachmman and Lars Johansen, who have expertise in project management, gave the three-day training. They taught and interacted with participants on different aspects of project management such as difference between how a project implementation succeeds or fails and guidelines on three specimen proposals for special projects presented by the participants. The experts imparted valuable information on how to define project goals and objectives, participation of stakeholders, implementation and assessment and methods to remove obstacles.Mr Leo H Knudsen, who works as a senior consultant for the Danish support to education for Tibetans in exile, attended the training.
