DHARAMSHALA: The academic section of the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration today commenced its 16th early grade reading workshop for Tibetan primary school teachers.
Mr Ngodup Tsering, Kalon of the Department of education, inaugurated the workshop which is being attended by at least 28 teachers from Tibetan schools across India.
The chief resource person for the workshop is Ms Latika Gupta, a professor from the Department of Education, Delhi University.
The workshop is being conducted in two-phases. The phase of the workshop will be held from 27 April – 1 May 2016. The second phase of the workshop will be held from 2 – 6 May 2016.
This workshop is funded by USAID through The Tibet Fund, based at Dharamshala.
