
DHARAMSHALA: Secretary Tashi Phuntsok of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), Central Tibetan Administration, today met with a group of 51 students from North America.
The students, comprising mostly of Jewish descendants, are on a month-long visit to Dharamshala as part of their annual school trip. They are here to study the Tibetan freedom struggle.
Secretary Tashi Phuntsok explained the structure and the policies of the Central Tibetan Administration. He spoke about theMiddle Way Approach of the Central Tibetan Administration, which seeks genuine autonomy for the Tibetan people through dialogue with the Chinese government.
