Dharamshala: Kalon Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), Central Tibetan Administration, congratulated Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch (BTSM), one of the largest Tibet Support Groups in India, on its new online weekly dialogue series on Tibet. The online dialogue series on Tibet was launched on 29 January 2022.
DIIR Kalon Norzin Dolma who participated the virtual launch of the online dialogue series said: “Namaste. On behalf of Honorable Sikyong Shri Penpa Tsering and the Central Tibetan Administration, I have come here today to express my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the members of Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch (BTSM) for your incredible initiative to launch this online weekly series on national and international dialogues on Tibet from tomorrow onwards i.e 29 January 2022.”
“As one of the prominent Tibet support groups with over 250 chapters from all over India, Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch as an organization has actively raised and empowered the issue of Tibet in India. With different activities ranging from protest marches to events, campaigns since its inception in 1999,” she said.
“Today this initiative to launch online dialogue series on Tibet as part of Tibet Public Awareness Campaign is not only timely but highly relevant to spotlight the reality of China’s occupation and repression inside Tibet and also to pressure Chinese government to resume the Sino-Tibetan dialogue through official middle way policy which is seeking genuine autonomy from the People’s Republic of China. I thank you all very much for your support all these years and I wish you all the very best for this new initiative. Jai Bharat, Jai Tibbat,” she concluded.
The weekly online dialogue series will focus on the theme ‘Tibet: Present Scenario and Future’ as part of its Tibet Public Awareness Campaign, according to the official facebook page of the organisation. It also says that the main objective of the online dialogue series is to create a large social awakening to protect humanity along with the liberation of Tibet and the liberation of the holy Kailash Mansarovar.
