Dharamshala to Mark 17th Anniversary of Imposition of Martial Law in Tibet

Dharamshala (TibetNet): A prayer congregation will be held tomorrow at Tsug-la-Khang (the main templel) in Dharamshala in commemoration of those Tibetans who died during the martial law in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet.
The prayer session is organised by the Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration to mark the 17th anniversary of the imposition of martial law in Tibet on 8 March in 1989 and to pray for the early release of those who are still behind bars in Tibet.
