
DHARAMSHALA: Ven Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile will be leaving tonight to Delhi to attend the World Rakshabandhan Day – Festival of Human Values- as a guest of honour and to address the festival. The festival is being organised by the International Rakshabandhan Festival Celebration Committee which is composed of 25 social and cultural organisations. The theme of the celebration is “World Peace and Brotherhood”.
Five ministers of the central government and representatives of more than 100 organisations from India and abroad would be participating in this celebration. Many countries would be represented by their respective Ambassadors and High Commissioners in India along with Consulate Generals and other dignitaries.
The celebration will be held tomorrow i.e; 17 August 2016 at 3:00 pm at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
