Deputy Speaker leaves for official visit to Delhi and Jaipur

Dharamshala: Dolma Gyari, the deputy speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, left Dharamshala on 25 April to Chandigarh.
She is expected to meet Punjab’s chief minister in Chandigarh, this morning at 9:00 a.m.
Later in the evening she will depart to Jaipur via Delhi.
On 29 April, Mrs Gyari will attend a meeting on the current situation
in Tibet in Jaipur at the invitation of Himalayan Parivar (Bharat Tibet
Sahyog Manch). Later in the evening, she will take part in a peace
march in the town.
She will hold a press conference with the Himalayan Parivar on the issue of Tibet on 30 April.
On 2 May, she will attend a meeting with George Fernandes,
former Defence Minister of India, Mr. Penpa Tsering, executive director
of Tibetan Parliamentary and Policy Research Centre and members of All
Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet on the issue of Tibet at the
Tibetan Parliamentary and Policy Research Centre in Delhi.
Mrs Gyari will return to Dharamshala on 4 May 2008.
