Dharamshala: Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang attended the enthronement ceremony of Jey Tsang Khentrul Tenzin Lodoe Thaye Rinpoche and the ceremony of his initiation into the path of dharma on 5 September 2024 at Sera Jey monastery in Bylakuppe, south India.
The enthronement ceremony of Jey Tsang Khentrul Tenzin Lodoe Thaye Rinpoche had the presence of other key dignitaries, including parliamentarians Migyur Dorjee and Choephel Thupten.
During her official visit to Bylakuppe in South India, the Deputy Speaker paid her respects at the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Namdroling Monastery, and Sera Jey Yiga Choeling Centre.
Additionally, the Deputy Speaker called upon Shri Vijaya Kumara – the AC of Hunsur.
The Deputy Speaker also attended the Tibet Festival, “Spirit of Tibet: Celebrating Culture and Compassion,” in Delhi on September 3, 2024. During this event, she held brief meetings with Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab and Shri Tapir Gao, Convener and Co-Convener of the All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet, as well as Shri Sujeet Kumar, former Convener of the Forum, and other prominent leaders.
