Deputy Speaker attends Ganatantra Gyan Yajna in Orissa

Dharamshala: Dolma Gyari, the deputy speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, attended Ganatantra Gyan Yajna–a three-day seminar organized by Ananta Balia Trust from 28-30 April in the premises of Arilo Village, Jagatsinghpur district in Orissa.
The deputy speaker gave a keynote address on the Tibetan issues and its democracy.
According to Pujya Pujak Baba Balai, a Hindu spiritual leader and founder of the trust, this seminar was organized to promote and educate the masses on the true meaning of democracy.
Mr. Navin Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Orissa and the state’s two former Chief Ministers were also present at the seminar.
Other present at convention include Mr. Ravi Rai, former Speaker, Parliament of India, Mr. Bashistha Narain Singh, member of Parliament and Convener of All Party Parliamentarian Forum for Tibet, Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, deputy of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, members of Indian Parliament and eminent scholars.
