Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh: As part of the agenda decided in the preliminary meeting of Tibet Support Groups held at Guwahati, Assam on 30th July 2021, a team of a delegation led by the Coordinator of India Tibet Coordination Office – Delhi, Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim paid a visit to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu on Monday, 20th Sept. 2021 at his residence in Tawang.
Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, head of the delegation briefed the CM Khandu on the forthcoming visit of Sikyong Penpa Tsering to the Northeast including Arunachal Pradesh to which, CM Khandu has assured to extend all assistance needed in facilitating the visitation and further programs.
The next day, on 21st September morning, the delegation visited Tawang Monastery and met with the senior administrators of the Monastery. The administrators were also briefed on the upcoming visit of the Sikyong.
The delegation team was comprised of Mr. Jigmey Tsultrim, Coordinator, India Tibet Coordination Office – Delhi; Shri Soumyadeep Datta, Regional Convener, Core Group for Tibetan Cause – India; Shri Wangdi Dorjee Khrimey, President, Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch – Arunachal Pradesh; Shri Lhundup Chosang, President, Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch – Tawang District; Mr. Yangdup, Tibetan Settlement Officer, Tenzingang and Mr. Chisa Tselha, Office Secretary cum Coordinator, Tibetan Settlement Office, Bomdila.
