DHARAMSHALA: The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) will launch a special video greeting for His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 17 June (tomorrow), ahead of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s upcoming 80th birthday celebration on 21 June.
Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay, the democratically elected political leader of the Tibetan People, will launch the video on behalf of all the Tibetan people inside and outside Tibet.
The video will feature tributes and greeting messages from the public including Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Archbishop Tutu earlier gave an exclusive interview to DIIR’s Tibetonline.tv during his visit to Dharamshala recently where he lauded His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the greatest gift to the world.
The video will be in Tibetan, English and Chinese languages.
