Dharamshala: CTA President Dr Lobsang Sangay wished honourable chief minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur quick recovery and good health after the Himachal CM revealed he has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I, along with the Tibetan people, would like to convey our best wishes to your excellency for a speedy recovery. As we continue our fight in unison against this pandemic, I hope that we will soon find you in good health leading Himachal Pradesh,” wrote President Dr Sangay.
He added that the CTA and Tibetan people join the people of Himachal Pradesh in praying for his full and swift recovery.
Earlier on Wednesday, His Holiness the Dalai Lama wished the CM a speedy recovery in a letter, offering prayers for his recovery and for an early resolution to the COVID crisis.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday announced he had tested positive for COVID-19, and was in quarantine, after coming in contact with a COVID positive person. The Wuhan originated coronavirus has killed more than 1,11,266 people in India and infected at least 7.3 million across the country.
