Dharamshala: The President of the Central Tibetan Administration Dr Lobsang Sangay will leave for Aurangabad, Maharashtra today.
As per the invitation accorded by the Lokuttra Mahavihara and Bhikkhu Training Centre, Dr Sangay as the Chief Guest will attend the installation and consecration of a 50 feet statue of Tathagat Buddha at the Centre in Aurangabad on 18 May 2019.
After a brief official visit to Mumbai, Dr Sangay will leave for Washington DC, US on 19 May .In the United States Dr Sangay will visit Santa Fe, Boston, and New York, where Dr Sangay will inaugurate the new community hall, Phuntsok Deyshe, orgnanized by the Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey on 2 June.
In between the US visit, Dr Sangay will also make an official visit to Vancouver, Canada on 21 May. Dr Sangay is scheduled to return to Dharamsala on 5 June.
