
Vadodara, Gujarat: CTA President Dr Lobsang Sangay addressed the Tibetan students studying in Baroda University at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, of the Maharaja Sayajirao University on 7 August 2019.
Dr Sangay had an interactive session with the students.
Baroda Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC) organised the meeting of President Dr Lobsang Sangay with the Tibetan students of Baroda.
Baroda RTYC gave a brief report of Baroda Tibetan students and various works carried out by the Baroda RTYC for the cause of Tibet.
President appreciated more than 23 years work of Baroda RTYC.

President then shared his experience of being a member of the Tibetan Youth Congress once upon time.
President Sangay spoke on the Middle way as the only pragmatic strategy and policy to resolve the Tibet issue. He further elaborated on the benefits and advantages of adopting the Middle way policy.
President also shared various incidents and challenges faced in different countries under the influence of the Chinese government.
President advised the young students to face the challenges as it comes and remarked that Tibetans are very potential and wise while highlighting the hard work that the elder generations have put in.
He further informed about the recent visit of U.S Congressional Delegation to the Central Tibetan Administration and asserted it was a proud moment for the Tibetans to be receiving such high-level delegation.
He then informed the students about the scholarships provided under the Department of Education and said the opportunities have increased over the last years.
In his final words, President Sangay urged the students to perform well in their academics and he informed about the 10 months course at Sarah college for higher Tibetan studies for those wishing to be civil servants.
