Dharamshala: The President of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) Dr Lobsang Sangay left this afternoon for Dehradun where the President will be inaugurating community housing at Gepheling, in Dehradun tomorrow.
In the southern Tibetan refugee settlement of Mundgod, the President will attend the inauguration ceremony of the International Conference on Je Tsongkhapa’s Life, Thought and Legacy, the commemoration of the 600th anniversary of the Parinirvana of Je Tsongkhapa at Gaden Lachi, and life-long prayer offering to His Holiness at Gaden Jangtse monastery respectively on 20, 22 and 23 December. While in Mundgod, the President is also scheduled to inaugurate the new staff quarters of the settlement’s hospital.
Following the official visit, the President will return to Dharamshala on 23rd December.
