CTA offers prayers for victims of Tibet Protests

Dharamshala: All the
departments of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), today, began a
special prayer session to pay tribute for the Tibetan people, who lost
their lives in the recent peaceful demonstrations against the
repressive Chinese policies in Tibet.
According to the notice issued by the Kashag, the prayer
session also aims to enhance the collective merit of the Tibetan
people.
The one hour prayer session, which started this afternoon,
included recitation of prayer texts such as Dolma and Guru Thukdam
Nekul
Yesterday, His Holiness the Dalai Lama led a special prayer
congregation at the Tsuglagkhang (main temple), for those Tibetans who
were killed and injured in the series of protests throughout Tibet
since 10 March.
