Dharamshala: On the auspicious occasion of Tibetan New Year, Losar, the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) has launched its newly re-designed official website in Tibetan, English, Chinese and now newly added Hindi.
The updated website has new features including improved search engine and downloadable publications.
Inaugurating the launch, Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay said, “In 2011, we had about not more than a lakh viewers to our English website but today, the viewership has crossed over to 11 million. Similarly, the viewership for Tibetan and Chinese websites has reached over 60 lakhs and 8 lakhs respectively”. Sikyong added that the greater public attention and engagement is the sole reason behind the increase in the viewership and urged the viewers to remain engaged for all the latest Tibet and administration’s related news besides other relevant news such as news on Tibet’s ecology and human rights situation in Tibet.
