DHARAMSHALA: The Public Service Commission of the Central Tibetan Administration has issued announcements for job vacancies at the Department of Health, Department of Education, Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), Department of Security and the Tibet Policy Institute (TPI).
Department of Health
Seats Available: 1
Position: Under Secretary
Position: Public Health Coordinator
Qualifications: B.Sc Nursing and Masters in Public Health or any equivalent degree in the field of health sciences from a recognised university.
Age Limit: The candidate should not be above 35 and below 21 as of 16/ 08/2013
Selection Process: If there is more than one applicant, candidates will be selected through an oral interview
Interested candidates need to provide the following documents to appear for the exam:
1) Two recent passport sized photographs
2) A copy of the first, second and the last updated pages of the Green Book
3) Copies of the first and the last updated page of the Registration Certificate (RC) or any other required document from the country of residence
4) Copy of the marks card or degree certificate
5) Copy of Birth Certificate or a copy of class X pass certificate
6) Fitness certificate affixed with one photograph from a clinic affiliated to the Department of Health or any recognized hospital. (If the fitness certificate is from Delek Hospital, attestation of Dr Tseten Dorji is mandatory)
7) A character certificate from the Settlement Officer
8) If the candidate is presently working, he/she needs to obtain an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the present employer or institution where he/she is working.
9) If the candidate gets selected, he/she should sign a promissory note to serve CTA for at least 5 years.
10) The last date of submission of application is 16 August 2013
I. Special Seats

Education: BA or equivalent degree in Chinese language. Candidates without a degree can also apply for the post.

Position: As assigned by the respective department on need base
Selection: Oral and written test in Tibetan and Chinese languages
Qualifications for the post of Section Officer
Seats Available: 1
Education: BA or equivalent degree in Chinese language. Candidates without a degree can also apply for the post
Age limit: Should not be above 40 or below 21 as of 16/08/2013
Position: As assigned by the respective department on need base
Selection: Oral and Written test in Tibetan and Chinese language
II. Professional Seat
Department of Education
Designation: Deputy Secretary

Position: Education Officer for Modern Studies
Education: Masters Degree with B.Ed from a recognised university
Age Limit: Should not above 35 or below 21 as of 16/08/2013
Experience: 5 years of teaching experience
Selection: If there is more than one applicant, candidates will be selected through an oral interview
Interested candidates need to provide the following documents to appear for the exam:
1. Two recent passport sized photographs
2. A copy of the first, second and the last updated pages of the Green Book
3. Copies of the first and the last updated page of the Registration Certificate (RC ) or any other required document from the country of residence

5. Copy of Birth Certificate or a Copy of class 10’s Pass Certificate
6. Fitness certificate affixed with one photograph from a clinic affiliated to the Department of Health or any recognized hospital. (If the fitness certificate is from Delek Hospital, attestation of Dr Tseten Dorji is mandatory)
7. A character certificate from the Settlement Officer
