Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok of Department of Religion and Culture, CTA addressing the students of Snowland Gangchen Rigney School, Gyudmed Monastery, Hunsur

Dharamshala: Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok of Department of Religion and Culture, CTA officially visited Snowland Gangchen Rigney School at Gyudmed Monastery in Hunsur to observe and inspect the ongoing sixth six months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy between 18-19 October 2019.

Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok received a warm welcome from Settlement Officer, Hunsur Rabgyaling, Abbots, Khenpos and representatives of Monasteries. Kalon further visited the main monastery and later visited Snowland Gangchen Rigney school. He met with the teachers and students of the school. Kalon inspected the evening debate class.

On the next day, Kalon Ven Karma Gelek Yuthok held a meeting with the settlement officer, Abbots of Gyudmed Monastery, Principal, teachers, and students of Gangchen Rigney School.

In his address, Kalon spoke on the special teachings of Buddhism and its features which was then followed by a question and answer session.

Kalon then left for Sera Jey on 19 October.
