Brussels: With the ease of Covid-19 restrictions, Choerig Zinkyong’s Jamyang Lophel Sunday school celebrated the 32nd anniversary of Nobel peace prize day cum Children’s Cultural Evening event on 3 April 2022 in Brussels.
The organisation runs 6 schools with over 372 children in Belgium namely Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven, Ostende, Gent and Bruge.
In his opening remarks, Secretary Tashi Delek of the Chorig Zinkyong School said that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching programs were implemented through online classes. Representative also handed over the certificates to the school graduates.
The event was followed by a number of Tibetan traditional dances and songs performed by the students and parents of the six schools. The event was also attended by various Tibetan Associations in Belgium, hundreds of children, and parents.
