DHARAMSHALA: Mr. Penpa Tsering, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, met Chilean Member of Parliament Mr Vlado Mirosevic at the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat on 1 December.

Mr Vlado Mirosevic, leader of Liberal Party of Chile, accompanied by Mr Fernando Salinas, Chief Coordinator of the Chilean friends of Tibet in Santiago and Ms Margarita Serrano were on a visit to Dharamshala from 29 November – 4 December.

During their meeting, Speaker Penpa Tsering apprised the visiting delegation about the Middle Way Approach of the Central Tibetan Administration and the functions and structure of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

The Tibetan Parliament also hosted a gala dinner for the visiting parliamentarian at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) on 3 December.

Besides the Tibetan Parliament, the Chilean delegation also visited the Tibet Museum, Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute, Norbulingka institute among others during their stay in Dharamshala.
