Toronto: After successfully conducting his official engagements in Paris, France, the Chief Election Commissioner of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) Sonam Chophel Shosur addressed the Tibetan community in Toronto, Canada on 22 June.

Chief Election Commissioner spoke about the amendments to the rules governing the elections of Sikyong and Members of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

He was warmly received by representatives of the Tibetan community in Toronto. The Commissioner’s visit was facilitated by the Office of Tibet, Washington DC.

On 29 June, he is scheduled to visit New York and address the local Tibetan community on the revised provisions in the Election rules.
