Central Tibetan Administration Regrets the Unpleasant Incident Following TYC’s Peace March Flag-off
Dharamsala, 12 February: The Central Tibetan Administration expresses its regrets over the confusion and disturbance that took place yesterday at Dharamsala during the peace march undertaken by the Tibetan Youth Congress due to certain misunderstanding and communication gap. The situation was amicably resolved by the timely intervention of Shri G.S Bali, the honourable transport minister of Himachal Pradesh and also the understanding exhibited by the Tibetan Youth Congress leadership. The Central Tibetan Administration is grateful to all the concerned authorities, particularly the political leadership of Himachal Pradesh government.
The Central Tibetan Administration sincerely hopes that the request of the Tibetan Youth Congress for permission to undertake a peaceful road-march (Path Yatra) as an expression of its concern for the situation inside Tibet, will be considered sympathetically by the concerned authorities of the government of India.
