Taipei, Taiwan: The Taiwan Office of Tibet this week released a new booklet in Chinese comprising His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s talks to youth from across the globe on various topics.

The publication of the booklet titled Compassion and Global Responsibility is part of a series of events and activities planned in this Thank You Taiwan Year commemorating both Tibetan’s 60th year in exile as well as the 20th founding anniversary of the Taiwan Office of Tibet.

As many as 5,500 copies of the booklet will distributed across Taiwan and in the rest of the Chinese-speaking countries and communities.

Further, a special Easy Card, featuring Tibetan national flag and titled Tibetan’s 60th Year in Exile and the 20th founding anniversary of the Taiwan Office of Tibet, was also released today.

The Easy Card is a contactless smartcard system operated by the EasyCard Corporation for payment on the Taipei Metro, buses, and other public transport services in Taipei. Its use has also since been expanded to include convenience stores, department stores, supermarkets, taxis, and other retailers.

The Easy Card commemorating Thank You Taiwan Year will be distributed within the local Tibetan community as well as supporters and friends of Tibet in Taiwan.

Earlier this year, the Office released 2018 Desk Calendar titled Thank You Taiwan, followed by installation of Thank You Taiwan billboards on all major roads in Taipei.
