Cape Town: The Office of Tibet, Pretoria, in collaboration with the Simon’s Town Museum is hosting a month-long biographical exhibition on His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Simon’s Town Museum from 28th March to 30th April.
The inaugural held on the 28th was attended by more than 50 people. Geshe Lobsang Dhondup inaugurated the event with auspicious prayers followed by inaugural remarks presented by Cathy Karl Jensen, the Director of Simon’s Town Museum.
Representative Ngodup Dorjee, Office of Tibet based in South Africa explained the purpose of the exhibition and thanked the participants.
“The awareness about the life and legacy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama will encourage understanding of Tibet’s struggle, the occupation of Tibet by China, and the continued gross violations of human rights in the Chinese-occupied Tibet,” said the Representative.
