Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch organised a meeting on Tibet in Ambala

Ambala: Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch, in Haryana, organised a meeting on ‘Tibetan Freedom and Indian Security’ at S.D. Senior School, Ambala Cantt, to remember the 1962 border war between India and China.
The chief guest, Mr. D.K. Bhansal, Member of the legislative assembly of Haryana, said that he would keep sending letters to the UN on behalf of Tibet. Besides he assured that the people of Haryana will continue to stand by the Tibetans.
Other eminent persons present at the meeting were Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri, National Co-convener Core Group for Tibetan Cause, Lobsang Chonjor, Tibetan Welfare Officer of Poanta Sahib, Shri. Asim Goel, Himalaya Parivar, Shri. Jeevan Ram Sharma, Shri. Ramesh Katyal, Shri. Prem Kumar, BTSM Ambala, Yamphel, CST Poanta Sahib and Tenzin Dawa of India Tibet Coordination Office.
Lobsang Chonjor expressed his gratitude on behalf of all the Tibetans for organising such programme to create awareness of the Tibet’s issue amongst Indian brothers and sisters.
Dr. Kuldeep Chand Agnihotri explained the issue of Tibet and how it is associated to India’s security. He said “In this present critical period of Tibetan struggle, Tibetans need the authentic and genuine support of every Indian”.
Meeting was attended by hundreds of people, including local Indian people and the Tibetan sweater sellers in Ambala.
