Applications are invited for post of researchers and visiting fellow (Ph.D/M.Phil) to carry out research work on issues related to Tibet and China. Applicants fulfilling requirements listed below must submit their application along with necessary documents not later than August 25, 2014.
Whereas those applying for researcher post (B & C) will be selected through written examination and interview, applicants applying for visiting fellow Ph.D (A) will be selected through interview only.
A. VISITNG FELLOW
Number of Post: One
Education: Ph.D
Duration: September 2014 to March 31, 2015
Salary: Monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 17,460.00
B. RESEARCHER
Number of Post: One
Duration: September 2014 to March 31, 2015
Education: Ability to carry out research in Tibetan, Chinese, English & translate between these languages. Graduate or Post-Graduate degree will be a plus point.
Experience: Certificate/recommendation from known research institution stating the applicant has carried out research for five years. Production of research paper, if any, will be a plus point.
Salary: Monthly consolidated salary of Rs 20,128.00
C. VISITING FELLOW
Number of Post: One
Education: M.Phil (currently registered with university & ongoing M.Phil studies can apply)
Salary: Monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 15, 000.00
Duration: 3 to 4 months of research work; submit research outcome to TPI; an opportunity to present research outcome to Tibetan community. After 3 to 4 months, another M. Phil student will be given opportunity.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for above three posts must submit:
a. Attested copy of Green Book with an updated voluntary contribution
b. Attested copy of R.C
c. Fitness certificate from a recognized hospital with applicant’s photography affixed on it.
d. Attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates.
e. No objection certificate from the organization where applicant is currently employed
f. PAN Card copy
