A Fire Destroyed 6 Tibetan Shops in Delhi

Dharamshala: A fire destroyed 12 shops and affected 18 other shops at Ladakh Dharamshala in Delhi yesterday. 6-gutted shops belong to the Tibetans.
However, according to a report of Voice of Tibet (VOA) radio service, no fatal injury has occurred except a few minor injury and property loss.
Ladakh Dharamshala in Delhi has about 250 Tibetan homes and shops.
A fire, which broke out yesterday morning around 4, took 10 fire brigades to extinguish it. The fire brigades took only half an hour to reach the place and the people appreciated their quick service.
The cause of fire has not been assessed yet, though the loss of property was estimated to be around Rupees 50000 to 60000 from each gutted shop, as told to VOA by Kelsang, the head of the Tibetan business fratenity in Ladakh Dharamshala, Delhi.
