Kullu-Manali: As part of the “Year of Compassion” programme and the celebrations marking the 90th birth year of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, and coinciding with the auspicious month of Saga Dawa, the Local Ghoton Committee of Palrabling Tibetan Settlement, together with members of the Tibetan community, organised prayers and long-life offerings for the well-being of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

On the 15th day of Saga Dawa, which commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of the Buddha, members of the Local Celebration Committee visited the sacred site of Garsha Phagpa. They offered prayers, hoisted prayer flags, and made special offerings in honour of the occasion.
