Miao: On the 15th day of the holy month (Saka-Dawa), the Ghoton Committee of Choephelling Tibetan Settlement, Miao conducted a fish life spare ceremony by releasing 154 KG of fish into a Brahmaputra River, Dibrugarh, one of the suitable aquatic habitats. This programme is specifically dedicated to prayers for the longevity and well-being of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, whose lifelong commitment to prayer and spiritual service has greatly benefited the whole sentient beings.
