
Leh, Ladakh, 8 January 2026: The Chief Representative Officer (CRO) of Ladakh Sonamling Tibetan Settlement, Tashi Dhondup, paid courtesy visits to several key newly appointed officials of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
During the visits, the CRO met Shri Ashish Kundra – IAS, Chief Secretary, UT Ladak; Shri Shree Raam – IPS, SSP Leh; Kunzes Dolma – JKPS, DySP Traffic Leh; Inspector Manzoor Hussain, SHO Leh; SI Rinzin Tamchoes, SHO Housing Colony; and SI Stanzin Zangpo, SHO Choglamsar.
In the official meeting with the Chief Secretary, the CRO discussed key developmental and welfare issues concerning the Tibetan community and submitted a copy of the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy, 2014, seeking financial support in District Capex budget. The Chief Secretary assured his full cooperation and continued assistance in addressing the community’s concerns.
The CRO also met with the newly appointed SSP Leh & Concern SHO to acknowledge and seek assurance for the maintenance of law and order and security within the Tibetan settlements. In addition, meetings were held with Station House Officers of areas covering Tibetan colonies to strengthen coordination and cooperation.
