Paris: Additional Election Commissioner Nangsa Choedon concluded her election awareness tour in Paris after successful two-day engagements in the city.

Accompanied by Tenzin Lhakyi from Election Commission, the Additional Election Commissioner arrived Paris Railway Station in the evening of 27 November 2025, where she was received by Thupten Tsering, Coordinator of the Bureau du Tibet in Paris.

On 28 November, the Additional Election Commissioner visited the Coordinator’s office to discuss election procedures for the 2026 Sikyong and Tibetan Parliamentary Elections.

On the following day, from 10:00 to 12:30, she provided in-depth training and guidance to regional election officers and observers on election procedures and regulations. That afternoon, during a public meeting with the Tibetan community in France, Coordinator Thupten Tsering introduced Additional Election Commissioner Nangsa Choedon to the gathering. Following this, the Additional Election Commissioner delivered an address on the upcoming Tibetan general election.

The President of the Tibetan Association of France then offered a vote of thanks, after which the public meeting concluded, and the Additional Election Commissioner departed for the airport to return to India.

At the same time, a considerable number of individuals were also able to complete their voter registration.
