Ladakh: Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi, accompanied by Additional Secretary Tenzin Norbu, visited Sonamling Tibetan Settlement in Ladakh from 5 and 7 November 2025 as part of the Central Election Commission’s ongoing public outreach programme aimed at raising public awareness about the forthcoming Tibetan general election.

Upon arrival, the delegation was accorded a warm reception by the Chief Representative Officer, the Tibetan Local Justice Commissioner, members of the Local Tibetan Assembly, and the local Tibetan community of Sonamling.
